Hi, i'm kisha!

Hi, I’m Kisha Samone, founder of Accessorise and a spoken-word artist based in Raleigh, NC.

Accessorise was born from a deeply personal moment. During a spoken word performance for a group of young black girls, I shared my journey of growing up, navigating colorism, and learning to truly love the skin I’m in. I spoke about embracing our uniqueness and celebrating the features that make us who we are.

After that performance, a mother approached me with a simple request, to place a line from my poem on a t-shirt for her daughter who was being bullied. While I’ve never been a t-shirt person, that moment sparked something greater.

Instead, I created a bangle. "My Black is Beautiful"

What started as one meaningful piece has grown into a collection of accessories designed to serve as daily reminders:

At Accessorise, every piece is created or curated with intention—to empower women to express themselves boldly, confidently, and authentically. Because the truth is, accessories  of any kind don’t define you… they enhance what you already have.

This brand is more than fashion, it’s purpose, it’s storytelling, and it’s a reminder to celebrate who you are and everything you’re becoming.
